Fit Over 40 is a small group personal training program for women 40 years old and over. This 6 week program meets twice a and focuses on building muscle.
Muscle mass naturally decreases with age. In fact, physically inactive people can lose as much as 3% to 5% of their muscle mass each decade after age 30, but strength training can help reverse that.
Fit Over 40 focuses on building strength safely and effectively. We will safely coach you through a program of progressively heavier resistance each week focusing on 4 main lifts: barbell deadlift, barbell overhead press, barbell back squat and barbell bent over row.
By keeping the small group to only 5 people we are able to give the individualized attention necessary for a safe and effective program.
We meet Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30am starting May 2.
